About Us

Y Music is an inclusive partnership of key providers of music education across York and North Yorkshire, working with Arts Council England (ACE) to support the delivery of The National Plan for Music Education (NPME) and to promote musical diversity and musical excellence.

Our vision, in line with the National Plan for Music Education, is to enable all children and young people to learn to sing, play an instrument and create music together, and have the opportunity to progress their musical interests and talents, including professionally.
